New York City Long Stay Vacation Rentals

Testimonials

Hi Madeline,

I left yesterday from New York without even sending a goodbye email.

I just wanted to thank you and say goodbye. The apartment was perfect and both my niece and I had a great time in New York. It was a pleasure to interact with you. I hope to return soon.

Let me know if you ever come to Buenos Aires.

Best regards,
María José - 11/22/11

We stayed at a studio apartment in the heart of Times Square (W 46th St) for 10 days. It was large enough for the four of us, and the host even provided us with a large air-matress so everybody had enough place for a comfortable sleep. It was not luxurious but it was clean, and all conveniences described on the website were present and working (including Wi-Fi). At first we were a bit doubtful about renting an apartment in New York, without knowing any persons who had stayed there, but it was definitely the right choice. We called the host a few days before our departure to NY, and again when we had arrived at the airport. He provided us with all necessary information and was always friendly towards us. The first air-matress he provided us with had a small hole in it, but we reported it to him and a few hours later he replaced it with a new one.
We are thankful to BNBNY for being a pleasant part of our trip!

Didn't Want to Leave and Can't Wait to Go Back!
It was my third trip to New York, the first for my daughter and my close friend. We were delighted and having stayed at hotels in New York (including the Marriot Marquis) I can definately say I would not stay anywhere but the Landmark apartment again! We enjoyed warm hospitality from all the staff at the Landmark Tavern upon our arrival and this continued throughout our entire stay. We loved having a real Irish Meal in Tavern too...It was delicious! We felt completely 'at home' and loved the character, convenience and comfort of the suite. Everything we needed in a place to stay was right there! Everything wanted...was close by. We saw the sights within very easy access, took in a Broadway show and saw a lot of culture within the nearby blocks. Our interaction with one of the owners and the staff at The Landmark Tavern, will definately be part of the special memories we keep from this holiday which marked my daughter's 21st birthday. Everyone helped to make it special time (even supplying the candles for the surprise Birthday Cake I had delivered from Brooklyn).

The sofa bed could use a little mattress topper maybe...although it didn't keep my daughter from sleeping at all! The other beds were great! (I slept on the convertable day bed and it was fabulous!)

The only downfall...which doesn't affect me...is that someone needing handicapped acessible space could take delight in this apartment--but then again...the building is charming because it is in original state! (And there were stairs everywhere we went).

My only reluctance in writing this review is that I worry everyone will love it so much that it won't be available when I want to stay there again! And all of three of us plan to!

Great apartment, Great Location!!
"Had a fantastic stay in the apartment. It was within walking distance of everything we wanted to do in NYC..the apartment itself was spacious and had everything we needed...much better than a hotel room...Would recommend apartment stays to anyone !! Michael, the owner, was a friendly and welcoming host...even at very early hours in the morning!!!"

"The Landmark Property was a wonderful place to stay. It was located so close to Times Square and yet hidden amongst lovely delis, a perfect combination for any stay in Manhattan. The property itself was great for 5 people with beds that folded away during the daytime to create lots of space. The historical elements of the apartment were fantastically explained by the very friendly landlord who greeted us upon arrival and was very flexible to our needs, even supplying us with a key to the side door so that we could come and go as we pleased without walking through the bar. Three of the other people that I stayed there with ate in the restaurant downstairs and reported that the food was lovely and the staff were very friendly. All in all an excellent property to stay in and somewhere that I will definitely be visiting again in the not too distant future! Thanks to all  involved."

"Our experience at the Landmark was better than expected. The location is superb - just a couple of blocks away from  many restaurants. The apartment is roomy unlike most hotel rooms and the hosts are charming and quite knowledgeable about the city. Can't wait to get  back so we can stay here again."

Madeline and Will, you should know each other. You were both the most efficient, caring and professional people we talked with in our search for short-term lodging. It seems you work slightly different corners of the same market, so there may be some symbiotic professional relationship that might help you both out.

I also want you both to know that I mentioned each of you on my Facebook page, provided links to your respective websites. Many people have been following Lauren's recovery story, and they know what a trial it was to finally wind up with a great place to live. I am hopeful that some of our friends both in NYC and upstate may look to you both for slightly different kinds of assistance.

Thank you, Madeline

Take care,
Jan & Lauren
